melissa pianosi, seventh & eighth grade

Ms. Pianosi was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie. She graduated in 1998 from Sault Area High School and then earned her education degree and secondary teaching certification at Lake Superior State University in 2003.  She has continued her education degree at Rio Salgado College. She has worked at St. Mary’s Catholic School since 2008, teaching a variety of subjects such as Spanish, kindergarten computers, math enrichment, and 7/8 grade Language Arts.  She now teaches all core subjects, as well as Spanish, in 7/8th grade.  Ms. Pianosi loves traveling and has been to Japan, Costa Rica, and twice to Panama. She also enjoys reading, writing, art, theater, and spending time with friends and family. Her faith is very important to her. She is an active member of St. Joseph’s Church. She loves teaching middle school and is excited to see what joys the new year will bring.
