Fundraising Accountability

Any fundraising event involving the name of St. Mary’s School needs to be handled in the following way:
  • Two people must count the money after each fundraising event
  • The money must be turned in (to the school office or the HASA Treasurer) including a written report stating the total amount, purpose for the money, and the signatures of the two people who counted the money.
  • This money must be turned into the office or HASA officer within the next business day after the event is done.
  • If the fundraising money is for a class field trip, this money will be kept in the school’s account as a separate line item until the class is ready to use the funds.
