Dear Families of St. Mary’s Catholic School,

E.U.P Reads is this evening at LSSU Cisler Center from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  This is a community family reading event and our very own Ms. Margaret and Mrs. Bauer will be there representing St. Mary’s!  This event is to promote reading in the E. U. P.; everyone is welcome to attend.

Boys 6th grade basketball begins this week.  Thank you, Coach Matt DeWildt, for coaching our boys!  Any boy in grade 5 or 6 is welcome to play.  Please see the side bar for the practice schedule for the next two weeks.

Special Agent Todd Wilton, assigned to U.S. Homeland Security Investigations in SSM, MI, will be presenting Project iGuardian to interested adults in our community on Wednesday, March 18th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  Our school parents/guardians who attend may claim volunteer hours.  Whether you have younger children or teens, his presentation is very informative and worth your time.  Please see enclosures for further information and if you will attend, please contact the school office to let us know so we may be plan accordingly.  Special Agent Wilton will present online safety to students in grades 3-5 and 6-8 on Friday, March 20th.

On Thursday, March 19th, the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our SMCS Catholic Identity Committee is hosting a St. Joseph Altar/Tiered Table during the lunch hour and is looking for bakers who are willing to bake some baked goods for the altar.  If you would like to earn some volunteer hours for baking, please see the enclosed flyer regarding the St. Joseph Altar/Tiered Table.

Friends of St. Mary’s School is holding a “Spring Paint” fundraiser.  Please see flyer for further information and how to register for this fun painting event.
